Our review services are specifically directed toward analyzing appraisals for the appropriateness of the valuation methods and techniques employed and for the adequacy and relevance of gathered data. Our review format comments on the sufficiency of the appraiser's identification and description of the property; it also rates the appraisal's compliance with USPAP Standards, compliance with FIRREA and compliance with the client bank's internal appraisal policy. If requested, we will provide the findings of an independent inspection of the property. The review report we provide outlines recommendations for the original appraiser's clarifications, amplifications and/or corrections. We conclude with a summary of the report's reliability along with our own underwriting recommendations (if appropriate).
